  1. Did you know that Melon Dezign celebra-
  2. tes her 2. birthday on the 20 october ??

  4. Anyway now you do, and if you want to
  5. celebrate this breathtaking event with
  6. us, then come to our birthday party in
  7. Roskilde, DK. You and approx. 888 ot-
  8. hers are invited, and the celebration 
  9. will take place from
  10.  
  11.     Tuesday the 19. October at 1010 CET
  12.  
  13. to  Thursday the 21. October at 1212 CET
  14.

  16. This is not a big commercial happening
  17. organized just to make money. This is a
  18. Melon Dezign party organized only by
  19. members of Melon Dezign. We don't sell
  20. our souls to moneymakers just in order
  21. to get a few free tickets!!

  23. This means that we do not offer all the
  24. material stuff that some parties do, but
  25. still, we've got what it takes. Besides,
  26. 50% of the main organizers behind The 
  27. Party I in 1991 were Melon Dezign so 
  28. don't think we haven't tried this
  29. before.

  38. - A cafeteria will be open 24hrs/day 
  39.   (you got the melon seal of guarantee
  40.   for cheap prices! So you will be able

  42.   pizza and the like..)

  45.   member to bring extension cords !!!!

  72. Even though this a birthday party, there
  73. will be competitions for demo, intro,
  74. music and graphics.

  76. Since AGA has been out for a year now,
  77. we figured it was time to upgrade the
  78. good old 1.3 1MB A500 into a brand new
  79. 3.0 2MB A1200 which will be used for all
  80. competitions. However, we will announce
  81. what kind of equipment is necessary to
  82. to run the demo/intro in question and
  83. also the size of the palette or module
  84. in the music- and gfx-competition. This
  85. way, everybody gets the best opportuni-
  86. ties.

  96. Each coder can only compete with one
  97. demo. creators must be present at the
  98. party!

  105. The intro must have the maximum size of
  106. 22k (22528 bytes!) creators must be

  128. competition! Oh yes, and it must be 
  129. loadable from DPaint 4 aga and the 
  130. creator must be present at the party.

  134. Crazy dress competition:

  136. The guy who can wear the most crazy
  137. clothes will be awarded a very special
  138. surprise gift from us ...   So dress
  139. casually.... NOT !

  142. Other surprise competitions WILL be held
  143. too....  A word for the wise: Bring both
  144. your mouse & stick !

  147.              PLEASE NOTE...:

  149. The entrance fee is 111 dkk. No foreign
  150. currencies will be accepted.

  152. Drinking and smoking is of course allo-
  153. wed inside the buildings.

  155. Anyone who can't behave will be thrown
  156. out. Real troublemakers will not only be
  157. beaten up but also handed over to the
  158. police.

  160. People who cause any damages will have 
  161. to pay for it. (This also includes 
  162. graffiti and the like...)

  164. A special wall will be put up for graf-
  165. fiti writers.

  167. We will not accept anyone selling beer,
  168. soda, food etc. at the party.

  171. This is how you get to The Birthday 
  172. Party:

  175. If you come to Copenhagen by plane or
  176. boat, simply take a train to Roskilde.
  177. (Will take 25-30 mins.)

  179. DSB, the Danish railway company, has
  180. cheaper prices both Tuesday, Wednesday,
  181. and Thursday, so don't hesitate !!
  182.  
  183. When you are on the train station in
  184. Roskilde, get on bus 600S or 216 (they
  185. leave all the time, so no need for fancy
  186. party-busses). The ride will cost you 
  187. 9.50 dkk, just ask the driver to drop
  188. you at the second stop on Herregaards-
  189. vej. From here you will have to walk
  190. approx. 100m, but don't worry, there
  191. will be signs showing the way..

  193. If you come by car, just get off the 
  194. highway when you're in Roskilde. You
  195. will then inevitably find Oestre Ring-
  196. vej. Just follow Oestre Ringvej in the
  197. "Himmelev" direction, and at some point
  198. Oestre Ringvej will cross Herregaardsvej
  199. This is where you make your left turn!
  200. On Herregaardsvej, you turn left again
  201. (there will be signs when you get this
  202. far, so don't worry)...
